    A comfortable queen bed with quality bedding and linen will ensure a great night's sleep.

    There is also tea/coffee making facilities and bar fridge plus a TV with Freeview.

    A tiled ensuite with shower and toilet, underfloor heating and heated towel rail with large, fluffy towels combine to make a comfy stay.

    Continental breakfast provided in the house dining room: fruit juices, cereals, homemade yogurt, home-preserved fruit, toasts, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cookies.

    We're located about 4.3km outside of the town centre in Blenheim - that's less than a 10 minute drive. We can assist with arranging a taxi/shuttle or even drive you ourselves if we're available.

    I don't normally write reviews, but my stay at Tawny Hills B&B left an impression worth sharing. Gerrie and Bruce are exceptional hosts and very welcoming.

    The room was clean, comfortable and really well presented. It had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Small touches like fruit, chocolates and a choice of hot/cold drinks in the room make it feel like home.

    Don't hesitate in booking - you won't be disappointed!

  • Wonderful, relaxing stay with Perfect Hosts and Great Amenities.


    Lovely, clean room with a very comfortable bed, underfloor heating in the bathroom, great shower and fresh fruit and flowers too.

    Peaceful location with easy drive or walk into Blenheim. Continental breakfast was excellent, with homemade breads, conserves, muesli and yoghurt, as well as fruit and other cereals.

    Gerrie and Bruce were perfect hosts and advised us on places to visit and attractions to see, including the Makana chocolate factory!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tawny Hills and would certainly recommend a few days relaxing there and making the most of the wonderful location, vineyards and hospitality.

  • Our Hosting Policies

    • Bookings may only be made if you are over 18 years.
    • Website bookings are made via the SMARTres system and requires 10% deposit.
    • Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date (2pm) will incur NO charge.
    • Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, or failure to arrive, may incur an administration fee equivalent to 100% of the booked accommodation. This includes cancellation of nights after arrival.
    • Changes / extensions are subject to availability and early departure will incur the full tariff.
    • Check in is from 2pm and check out is 10am – these times may be negotiated if required.
    • Proof of Booking and/or ID will be required on arrival.
    • Rates are in NZ$ and include GST (NZ goods and services tax).
    • We thank you for not smoking anywhere on our property.

    You have exclusive use of your own private outdoor seating area and deck, and you are welcome to enjoy the garden.

    Sorry... we CANNOT accommodate any children under 12 years and absolutely NO pets are allowed.
